Beginning Monday, May 29th, Brycon Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will begin installation of approximately 1300 metres of water transmission main parallel to Highway #102, beginning near the Hammonds Plains Road intersection. The work will follow the Halifax Water easement.
For safety reasons, the work zone from Hammonds Plains Road to approximately the Bedford Rifle Range, parallel to Highway #102 will be closed until late October.
The hours of work will be 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday, with weekends as required.
Motorists should be aware of increased truck traffic entering and exiting the work site from the Hammonds Plains Road and expect minor delays.
Further updates will be provided prior to any significant traffic impacts on Hammonds Plains Road.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
